S.O.S

Yesterday we had our first ever lab session of Basic Navigation and Seamanship. It was the first lab session I'd ever attend in my whole life that actually requires us to jump into the ocean (With life jackets on, of course. I wouldn't be blogging now, otherwise. *Imagining the sound of If I Die Young by The Band Perry*)

The lab session took place at the jetty of our very own UMS.

During the briefing

(Was actually hoping for extra marks. LOL)

Immediately skip to the ones of us already emerging from the water.

Can you see me? The one with an arm poking out asking for help. I was the only one shouting "Tolong! TOLONG!," as if I was really drowning, despite being concious that I was wearing a life jacket and have zero possibility of being swallowed by the ocean. HOW EMBARRASSING. One of the workers even sarcastically said to his friend "Nah, pergi kau tolong tu. Lemas tu dia." 

Okay, fine.

Yes! YES! We made it! Land!!!! We missed you like crazy!!!

Just when we thought we've survived and our lives were no longer in danger, the Instructor suddenly announced that we actually had to jump into the ocean for another round. SHIT.

So here goes the second briefing.

Bha. Go, go, go! Jump, jump, jump!
